Our commitment to technology carries over to our warehouses as well. All of the inventory within our 25,000 sq.ft. of warehouse space is barcoded and computer controlled. With this warehouse management system we are able to maintain a 99% accuracy rate for order pulling and fulfillment.
This system effects all aspects of our order fulfillment process. When we receive product from our manufacturers, the product’s barcode is scanned by our Receiving Team to verify that we have received the correct product. The exact location of where the product is stocked on our shelves is also stored within the system.
When a member of our Pulling Team is ready to pull the product to fulfill a customer’s order, the wireless handheld used tells them exactly what shelf to pull the product from and also verifies the barcode on the product, ensuring the correct product is pulled.
To complete the process, when our Shipping Team boxes a completed order for shipment, the product(s) is verified once again with the wireless handheld to ensure the correct product is being shipped and that no product(s) is left off the order.
